Yeap Martin, your dream's coming true!

´´If there is anyone out there who still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible; who still wonders if the dream of our founders is alive in our time; who still questions the power of our democracy, tonight is your answer. It's the answer told by lines that stretched around schools and churches in numbers this nation has never seen; by people who waited three hours and four hours, many for the very first time in their lives, because they believed that this time must be different; that their voice could be that difference. It's the answer spoken by young and old, rich and poor, Democrat and Republican, black, white, Latino, Asian, Native American, gay, straight, disabled and not disabled -- Americans who sent a message to the world that we have never been a collection of Red States and Blue States: we are, and always will be, the United States of America.``
That was the way elected president Barack Obama introduced his victory speech before nearly 1.000.000,00 of people who gathered to praise the man in charge of restoring that what is told to be the most powerful nation in the world.
This pic above was chosen by me because without a doubt it portrays accurately the feeling felt for people all around the world, I mean, at least for those who´ve already seen enough violence, and now want no longer to live in fear. That is why Obama won.People want to walk with no fear. They want to live without the feeling that they can be hit anytime anywhere because their government was nosing none of its business.
I feel blessed indeed, because I could see a dream come true. And I am pretty sure that all of those who wanted this change, will be able to see the results of such hard work and sleepless nights.now America is ready to the very needed change, it took longer than I thought, but finally people started looking inside one another instead getting impressed for the first outside look.
So, it is time to get ready, study and believe. Those who do that, will certainly have their place under the American sunshine. That is it...God bless us all!!!!!!!!!
Obs:Para aqueles que desejarem acompanhar todo o discurso do Obama com o texto, posso envia-lo por email.

There´s First Time for Everything!

It´s been a long time I´m been intending to do some translation.Well..that day has come.
I´ve got a cute student called Lidia who is a very sweet girl by the way and whose father is also my student.Last week as in class she told me about an exchanging program she´s been intending to take. She´ll be competing with some more students in order to prove who has the best grades...then she was supposed to translate her school report to be assessed. And guess who was put in charge of that duty?..yeap...me!
The only problem was the time period..too short..only two days..to translate two school reports...
well..I must confess, my destiny manifest...lol lol lol ..remember Refugees?..lol lol lol ...............
back to the point..I translated that..and sent it to a guy to print it for me...then more problems showed up...the guy printed most of it in Portugues, can you believe that?Damn...when I saw that I almost got a heart attack..and to make matters worse when I went to take it back the dude wasn´t there!!!And all of this one day before expire the final time period...so I had to wait the guy till 9:30 p.m....the fella was in churche(though that was me who was praying)!...but...after all that forever waiting, he made it...and could finally fix the typos...and I was so eager about it that when I finally took the translateds copies I just fell in love with them...I didn´t want to give them back anymore...I wish I could staring at them forever...with a unique silly feeling of satisfaction..no..I ain´t nut...well..that´s it..I wish I had a Lidia´s pic...so you guys could see how cute she is...well..I´ll manage to get it done...see you soon...God bless we all........

Time for changing?..I believe!

A black man as president...one may ask:-What the hell do you have to do with this since you are a brazilian citizen?..there goes my answer...I am a brazilian citizen indeed...and that´s why I don´t follow brazilian politics...it´s worth to remember Brazil has one of the highest average of corruption, social unequality..what makes it hard to believe in our representants...I believe that the changes Obama will cause in the U.S.A , will affect us here, in Brazil. That´s why I´m talking about american election even though I´m a brazilian citizen.
I hope that with Obama running America, chances are of foreigners opportunities to increase, at least for those capable, prepared to play an indispensable role in american democracy.Yet, it´d be great to live four or eight years aware that America is not breaking through any country, instead is concerned with the countries in need, the immigration issue, and the planet preservation.
Just take a look at this speech http://br.youtube.com/user/barackobamadotcom?ob=4 ...then tell me, -Doesn´t he have what it takes to be the a president?...not only to America, to whatever country...-Did you pay attention to his topics?..if you did then you realized he isn´t only concerned with the America´s issues, but with the world´s as well. And that must be a skill owned for whoever stands for president of a nation.
Let your comment..I´d love to see what you guys have to say about this post.

After all...I met her....

Well.I´m writing to talk about something I was really looking forward for a long time...yeap dude!...we´ve finally had our first class ......I was so keen...I´m talking about two private students of mine...they work in a branch of the most famous television station in Brazil whereas one of them is a newscaster(the cute one above)....we spent over one and a half hour talking about some podcasts....which by the way has nothing to do with brodcasts..I mean..not quite...Youtube is a type of brodcast...it means transmission that you can watch, whereas podcast is more related to audio transmissions.
I´ve got to take a pic from Cris so that you´ll be able to see how sweet she is too...
I don´t have that much to talk about because I´m really busy, and even if I weren´t, I´d have to manage myself to be.I´ve got to work dude you know...to make some money...otherwise anyone´s going to make for me, aigh?...so...I think that´s all...

Vinho..hmnnn....

Bem...achei esse artigo sobre vinho muito interessante, portanto resolvi compartilhá-lo..

Wine is the fermented juice of grapes.Only one specie of grape,Vitis vinifera,is used for nearly all of the wine that is produced in the world. There are over 4,000 varieties of the Vitis vinifera today, but only a few are commonly used for making wine. Some of the most important varieties areRiesling,Chardonnay,CAbernet,Sauvignon and Muscat.
Wines are also made from other fruits such as apples and pears. Many of these wines are homemade. The egyptians started making wine over 4.500 years ago.Today wine is still a favorite complement to meals. It is also very much used in cooking, medicines, and in religious ceremonies.
There are four types of wine:table wines, are also called natural wines, which are made of juice that is pressed from the grape. They are the most common type of wine, and come in three colors:red, white and rose.
Fortified wines have more alcohol than table wines. The best known are Sherry(Spain)and Port(Portugal).
The best known sparkling wine is Champagne.People enjoy drinking sparkling wines on special occasions.
Flavored wines contain other substances.Vermouth and the popular wine coolers are examples of flavored wines.
